The following are answers to questions about Silver Ridge Policies and Procedures.

Question #1How early should I arrive for my treatment?
Answer:We highly recommend arriving one half hour prior to your scheduled appointment in order to take advantage of our facilities. Otherwise, arrive at least 15 minutes before to allow you ample time to change into a robe and enjoy a few moments of calm prior to your first appointment. Come in, take a deep breath and enjoy refreshments of tea or cucumber water before your service.

In consideration of our next guest we will need to complete your service at the originally scheduled time. Please arrive on time to ensure that you receive your full treatment.

Question #2What is I am late? Will I be charged the full treatment cost?
Answer:We will always do our best to accomodate you and provide the full service you have booked. Unfortunately this is not always possible if your service provider or room is booked immediately following your original scheduled end time.

As a courtesy, if you are running late, please call us at 905-826-0007 to let our Concierges know. If possible they will do their best to accomodate you with a full treatment. We understand that circumstances sometimes get in the way of arriving on time, however, in most cases, unfortunately we must charge for the full cost for the original treatment as we have already committed the staff member and the room resource to your original appointment.

Question #3Are reservations necessary?
Answer:We always welcome walk-in guests, but to avoid disappointment, we recommend that you book ahead, either by phone at 905-826-0007 or on line with our Web site booking form.

We especially recommend booking ahead for Mondney Madness, Friday and Saturdays or special days such as Birthdays, Anniversary's, Valentine's, Mother's Day, Father's Day and Christmas time.

If there is more than one person or a special room is required, always please call ahead.

Question #4Do you allow groups to make reservations?
Answer:Yes, we love group bookings - the more the merrier. However, always try to book ahead as far in advanced as possible to allow our concierges to book all the necessary time, rooms and staff you will require for your group.

If you have a very large group, you may wish to also use our multi-media Conference Centre facilities.. Please complete the Conference Centre booking request separately and speak to our concierge about your needs for food and refreshments.

Question #5Why was my treatment seem shorter than the time advertised?
Answer:All Treatments seem shorter than the published time as we incorporate the preparation and clean-up time into our published time. For example a 60 minute massage includes up to 5 minutes at the beginning for our therapist to greet you and for you to get undressed and comfortable under the sheets on your table. At the end we allow up to a further 5 minutes for you to get re-oriented, get slowly off the table and to get dressed at your liesure before leaving the room. So a 60 minute masaage is actually about 50  to 55 minutes of "massage time". In General we incorporate 5 minutes in Treatments for Manicure & Waxing, 10 minutes for Pedicures, Facials and Massages and 15 minutes for Body Treatments (to also allow you to shower in our Wet Rooms)

Question #6What is your cancellation policy?
Answer:We have a 24 hour change or cancellation policy. Our concierges will always attempt to contact you before your visit, however, the onus is still on you to contact us if you need to change or cancel your appointment. if you do not show up for your appointment, you will be charged 50% of the cost of the service(s) you do not show up for.

If you have booked and know that you will not be able attend, please contact us as early as possible to avoid any costs and to allow us to open up your original time slot for another guest.


Question #7Why do you take a Credit Card when I book my services - do you charge it in advance?
Answer:We take your Credit Card number as a security ONLY for the treatment you have booked. We do NOT charge anything to your card in advance.

The only time we will charge your card is after your service is completed or if you do not cancel your appointment 24 hours in advance and do not show up for your visit. In that case we will charge 50% of the cost of the treatment.

Question #8I have a Silver Ridge Spa - Complimentary Gift Card - when can I use it? what can I use it for?
Answer:You can use your Silver Ridge Spa - Complimentary Gift Card at any time, however there are certain terms and conditions of its use as follows;

A GIFT Certificate is Complimentary for SERVICES ONLY and has no cash redemption value. It may be used one time ONLY with no remaining value for any unused portion. GIFT Certificates may NOT be used for services performed by R.M.T.s or Doctors. GIFT Certificates MAY be used as partial payment for services that exceed the face value of the gift certificate but may NOT be used for Taxes or Gratuities, both will be added to the cost of the service and MUST be paid separately. GIFT Certificate MUST be presented upon checking in to the Spa before the service is performed - GIFT Certificates presented upon completion of the service will NOT be accepted. ONLY one GIFT Certificate may be used at a time and MAY NOT BE COMBINED with any other discount, package price, promotional days or special events. GIFT Certificate expires in six months from date of issue.

Question #9I was emailed a Silver Ridge Spa Complimentary Web Gift Card. What are the terms and conditions for this card?
Answer:Web GIFT Certificate is Complimentary for SERVICES ONLY and has no cash redemption value. This GIFT Certificate has a value of up to 50 or 50% of the cost of your service if the treatment costs less than $100. GIFT Certificate may not be used for services by an R.M.T. or by Doctors. It may be used one time ONLY with no value for any unused portion. GIFT Certificates MAY be used as partial payment for services that exceed the face value of the gift certificate but may NOT be used for Taxes or Gratuities, both will be added to the cost of the service and MUST be paid separately. GIFT Certificate MUST be presented upon checking in to the Spa before the service - GIFT Certificates presented upon completion of the service will NOT be accepted. ONLY one web GIFT Certificate per sign up may be used per guest and it MAY NOT BE COMBINED with any other discount, package price or promotion. Re-prints or additional certificates issued to alternate emails for the same guest my not be used. GIFT Certificate expires in six months from date of issue.

Question #10Why are there no discounts for services by R.M.T.'s or Doctors?
Answer:R.M.T.'s or Doctors are both groups of professionals that must adhere to the rules as set by their governing Provincial organizations.

Both R.M.T.'s and Doctors are specifically prohibited by their organizations from discounting their services so we must obey by these guildlines in our Spa.

Question #11What are the conditions for booking Monday Madness and receiving a 50% discount?
Answer:Monday Madness is our most popular promotion and you can pre-book it at any time. To avoid disappointment we recommend you book your Monday Madness services well in advance either by calling 905-773-8381 or on our web site with our on-line booking form.

50% OFF Monday Madness is based on the FULL regular price of each individual service. Discounts do NOT apply to services provided by R.M.T.'s or Doctors. Discounts can not be combined with any previously purchased package, Gift Card or Complimentary Gift Card. Discounts do NOT apply to product purchases, any applicable taxes or gratuities.
